One month ago, we decided with my boyfriend that we really wanted to have one last trip before becoming parents. We know that our life won’t stop but we also know that having a baby is a big thing and it will take a lot of our time so we needed to relax and enjoy a moment together under the sun. Dubai seemed to be the perfect destination, not to far and very sunny
Before heading to the United Arab Emirats, I was told by a lot of people that Dubai was just a superficial place where everything is huge and expensive. So I was a little anxious about this trip, thinking that I wouldn’t like it and that our last trip before baby comes wouldn’t be as magic as I wanted it to be!
Guess what?! They were all wrong ! I absolutely loved that place… Everyone was nice, polite and respectful and the city was so clean and new! I even had the impression that everything was smelling good over there!
We stayed for about a week at the Grosvenor House, a beautiful hotel at the beginning of the Dubai Marina. I really enjoyed staying there because the staff was just amazing and as a pregnant woman I have loved to be treated like a real queen <3. The greatest thing about this place is that they have their own beach 5 minutes away from the hotel so we had the chance to enjoy it every day for free because access to the beach is usually very expensive in Dubai ( if you want to be in a great one of course).
There are so many things to do in Dubai because it’s a very young ans trendy city. What I enjoyed most was probably the mall hahaha ! I have never seen so many beautiful shop in one place and it’s not just that! The Dubai mall is full of magic with its fountain show, its luxury decoration, its huge aquarium and its incredible view on the Burj Kalifah.
People in Dubai are just the nicest and most respectful human being ever! The culture there is full of beauty and we will go back there next year for sure!
